About Sarah Kimmins


Sarah Kimmins was appointed in 2005 as an assistant professor in the department of Animal Science in the faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at McGill University in Montréal. She received her PhD in Reproductive Biology from Dalhousie University in 2003. Her post-doctoral training in spermatogenesis and transcription was undertaken at the Université Louis Pasteur, at the Institut de génétique et de biologie moléculaire et cellulaire in Strasbourg, France. Her research is focused on determining the role of epigenetics in germ cell development, fertility and offspring health. Her research program is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), FQRNT-Réseau québécois de reproduction (RQR), and Génome Québec.
