About Paul Goodyer

Paul Goodyer is professor of Pediatrics at McGill University and a Pediatric Nephrologist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where he directs the Renal-Genetics Clinic. He heads a research laboratory at the McGill University Health Center Research Institute focused on molecular control of kidney development as it pertains to hereditary renal disease. With Nicoletta Eliopoulos of the Jewish General Hospital and an international team of collaborators, he is engaged in an effort to develop stem cell therapy for cystinosis, a rare genetic disease that is particularly prevalent among French Canadians.
