Génome Québec very proud to partner with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Daniel Coderre, President and CEO of Génome Québec, was very proud to participate on Sunday in the signing of an agreement between Génome Québec and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The event was held as part of Québec's economic mission in Israel, led by Québec Premier Philippe Couillard, along with Dominique Anglade, Québec's minister of economy, science and innovation.

Through this partnership, Génome Québec and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem hope to enrich their genomics research activities in the areas of precision medicine, agriculture, forestry, sustainable development, deep learning, artificial intelligence and big data. This agreement also aims to provide access to cutting-edge technological platforms.

“It is with great pride today that we formalize this partnership with a world-renowned institution, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. For us, the success of genomics, a disruptive technology, inevitably depends on knowledge sharing. That is why international scientific co-operation is essential—it accelerates the discovery process. With this new partnership, our organization plans to promote Québec’s talent and develop opportunities for industrial and academic collaboration,” said Daniel Coderre.
