Québec City, May 26 2014 – The Genomics Center of the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec, with its high-tech equipment, offering services to over 300 research teams each year, was officially inaugurated today. This center enables research professionals from the CHU de Québec, affiliated with the Université Laval, to maintain and develop their acquired leadership in this cutting-edge area of genomics.

Congratulations to Anie Perrault, new Executive Manager of BioQuébec

Génome is pleased to announce the appointment of Anie Perrault as Executive Manager of BioQuébec.
Mrs. Perrault has over 20 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. A member of several boards notably, that of Loto-Québec, Anie Perrault is currently City Councellor for the City of Bromont and serves on the Research and ethics Committee for Génome Québec. She held the position of Vice President of Communications at Genome Canada from 2001 to 2006 and prior to this, she was National Communications Director for Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (Rx&D). She brings solid knowledge of the political and media environment, having acted as consultant to several federal elected officials over the course of her career, among them, the Right Honourable Joe Clark.
