Access to data and samples from the Biobanque québécoise de la COVID-19

Oct. 16, 2020
The Biobanque québécoise de la COVID-19 (BQC19), Génome Québec and the Québec COVID - Pandemic Network (QCPN) invite the scientific community to submit their requests for access to the BQC19 data and samples, starting October 15, 2020.
The data-only access process will be continuous and will provide immediate access to currently available data. Currently, these correspond to genome-wide genotyping, host genome sequencing, and clinical data on more than 500 BQC19 participants, divided between SARS-CoV-2 positive participants and control cases. The process will be extended to other data as it becomes available.
Applications including biological samples will be processed through a competitive process to ensure optimal use of the samples. Three competitions will be organized per year. Applications for the first competition are accepted from October 15 to November 16, 2020. Access will be given following completion of the evaluation process in January 2021.
