2017 Large-Scale Applied Research Project Competition Genomics and Precision Health

  • 2017 Large-Scale Applied Research Project Competition Genomics and Precision Health

    Code : GC
Organisator : Génome Canada (GC )
    Year : 2017

    This competition is now closed.

In keeping with Genome Canada’s mandate to invest in large-scale research, projects can range in budget from approximately $2 million to $10 million, over a term of up to four years. Genome Canada will provide 50% of funding for each project with the remainder to be obtained through co-funding from other sources.

Applicants will be required to apply for funding through Génome Québec. The application process includes a mandatory registration followed by pre-application and full application stages.

To help Québec researchers prepare for this competition, Génome Québec will organize a friendly (not used for selection) external review of pre-applications before submission to Genome Canada. Applicants will receive feedback, focusing on gaps and areas for improvement. Therefore, it’s important to submit a complete version to Génome Québec on April 4 to make sure you’ll get the most out of the external review.

Compliance with this process is mandatory for all Québec projects.
