An excellent report on rare diseases was broadcasted on Découverte at Radio-Canada. Dr. Nada Jabado and Dr. Jacques Michaud explain the role of genomics in understanding the origin of rare diseases.
Part of the report was filmed at the McGill University and Génome Québec Innovation Centre, where it shows the role of next-generation sequencers in identiying genes mutations.
